How do I place a cake order?

Cakes can be ordered directly through our website here. Your purchase will be confirmed through an email shortly after payment is made.
How much notice do you require for orders?

Orders for the current week close on Monday at 9:00AM, or as soon as we reach maximum orders for that week (which ever comes first!). We recommend ordering two weeks in advance to avoid missing out. We bake as many cakes as humanly possible each week, so if a date is unavailable on the website, it really means we are full and can't accommodate any extra orders!
Do you make custom sizes or designs?

We currently just offer the one size and style of cake- The Classic Baby Cake. However, you can fully customise your order by choosing your flavour, colours, text and extra decorations for a personalised touch. We are unable to accommodate requests for specific designs or larger size cakes right now, sorry!
How does collection work?

Your order can be collected from our bakehouse in Leederville on your selected date during our opening hours (7:00AM- 2:00pm.) You are welcome to have someone collect your order on your behalf. Full details regarding order collections are provided in your confirmation email.
What is the best way to store and serve my goodies?

Store your cake or cupcakes in the fridge and serve at room temperature; We recommend taking them out at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the cake and buttercream to soften. Your goodies will keep for up to one week if stored in the refrigerator, however we recommend consuming within three days.
Do you offer gluten free cakes?

Yes! Gluten-free cakes and cupcakes can be ordered here. Please note that all cakes are baked in the same facility, so gluten-free cakes are not guaranteed coeliac-friendly.
Do you offer delivery?

Given the fragile nature of our products, we do not offer a delivery service. Orders must be collected from our Leederville bakehouse during opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays.
Where are you located?

Gather Bakehouse is located at 201 Oxford Street in Leederville. We are tucked under The Camera House, just opposite North Metropolitan TAFE. We are open from 7:00AM- 2:00PM Tuesday through Saturday. Come say hey!
Can I pre-order coffee or baked goods online?

Yes! You can order and pay for your coffee and baked goodies in advance through the Skip App. Simply search 'Gather Bakehouse' in the app and skip the line when you arrive for pickup.
